The company discovered that HP has released a new firmware update affecting devices using the HP 90X series cartridges.
Zhono, through its monitoring of firmware updates discovered on 8 August, that HP released another irmware update to network printers using the 90X series cartridges. Table one shows affected models, using 902/903/904/905/90U cartridges.
The firmware update number was identified as version 2329BR.
Zhono confirmed: “After testing, our engineers verified that Zhono compatible inkjet chips used in the HP 90X series printers are not impacted by the OEM firmware upgrade, and that the chips function correctly on the printers in both previous and current models.”
Zhono said it will continue to monitor firmware upgrades and remain committed to providing customers with safe and reliable chip solutions.
