Zhono introduces the “Chip Wrapper”

The chip maker has announced the launch of the “Chip Wrapper” for HP W1110A/W1105A series cartridges.
In September 2020, chip solutions supplier, Zhono (Guangzhou Zhono Electronic Technology Co., Ltd.) released the “Chip Wrapper” for HP W1110A series cartridges. Zhono says it adopted brand new technical methods to develop the “Chip Wrapper”, which reduces both waste and cost.
Unlike the traditional solution of replacing entire chips, existing OEM or compatible chips can be reset using wrapping technology. A used chip and one of Zhono’s “Chip Wrappers” can be combined to effectively create a new, fully functional compatible chip. When the “Chip Wrapper” reaches the end of its life, it can be removed from the chip and a new Chip Wrapper can be installed to get more life out of the chip.
Zhono said that the cost savings can be as much as 30% by reusing a chip using a “Chip Wrapper”.
