Zhono chips not impacted by Ricoh firmware update

Aware of a new firmware update, Zhono investigated the impact on its chips to confirm they are not impacted by the update.

On 26 April 2023, Ricoh released the latest firmware for the IM C2500 series copiers (see Figures 1, 2 and 3).

After testing, Zhono’s engineers verified that its compatible chips used in the Ricoh IM C2500 series copiers are not impacted by the OEM firmware upgrade above (see Figure 3), and that the chips function correctly on the copiers in both previous and current models.
