Xerox expands with “Everyday Toner” range
August 19, 2020
The OEM has launched a product portfolio for use in non-Xerox devices named “Xerox Everyday Toner”.
On its website, Xerox introduces the range with “Toner usually comes in one of two extremes. Expensive. Or unreliable. Not anymore.” Xerox says its new range comes with “no exorbitant prices”, “no hidden costs” and according to Xerox “just the confidence of the Xerox brand and solid performance you’ve come to trust”, a new line of printer supplies “that takes a different approach.”
Available in the new portfolio are toner cartridges for use in Brother DCP series, Brother HL series, Brother Intellifax, Brother MFC series, Canon ImageCLASS, Canon ImageRUNNER, Canon ImageRUNNER Advance, HP Color LaserJet, HP Color LaserJet Enterprise, HP Color LaserJet Pro, HP LaserJet, HP LaserJet Enterprise, HP LaserJet Pro, Konica Minolta Bizhub, Konica Minolta Bizhub pro, Kyocera Ecosys, Kyocera TASKalfa, Ricoh Aficio MP, Ricoh MP, Sharp MX and Toshiba e-Studio devices.
Xerox Everyday Toner comes with a lifetime warranty and complies with key safety and environmental regulations regarding the use of chemicals and electrical components and their proper disposal.
Editor’s Opinion: The HP Xerox deal died in March and a perfect storm is coming. The market is down, COVID-19 is impacting the market, the office print market is taking a more mature outlook, and the reuse agenda is gaining traction at a high speed. So, if you were the Xerox CEO, how do you grow?
The answer is simple, be a “Cuckoo” and a) strengthen your nest, or business. Xerox has been reorganising itself since Mr Icahn got on board, driving down costs and chasing opportunities and Xerox is a different business today. And b) take a bit of everyone else’s business. Look at the portfolio, it is the cherries on the cake.
And it is no secret that some of the products Xerox sells are sourced from the aftermarket.
