Xerox benefits Indian women in business

Avtar I-Win and Working Mother have compiled a list of the 2018 100 Best Companies for Women in India, and Xerox India Ltd. has made the rankings.
The reasons for Xerox’s placing on the list were given, with Avtar and Working Mother explaining about the company’s “comprehensive diversity initiatives” such as the Wilson rule, which “requires that women be among the final pool of qualified candidates for open positions” and that “at least 25 percent hiring of the total workforce has to be women”.
In addition, the company offers Work Life programs, giving women the chance to work from home or take flexible hours. There are also employee assistance programs, such as the opportunity to talk to a psychologist at no cost through the company’s online portal, among other benefits.
