Working from Home? See Lexmark’s four new printers

Lexmark has launched four new smaller, lighter and faster printers targeted at the SMB and working from home markets.

The four new printers are smaller, lighter and faster devices and printers targeted at the SMB and working from home markets and includes three monochrome business-class printers and multifunction products (MFPs), and one small-workgroup colour MFP device.

The new printers are:

Lexmark MS331dn (monochrome MFP): offering solid performance and flexible connectivity, the Lexmark MS331dn supports output up to 38 pages per minute and integrated duplexing. The recommended monthly usage is 500 – 5000 pages. The printer has multiple connectivity options and an optional 550-sheet paper tray and offers “full spectrum” security.

Lexmark MS431dn (monochrome MFP) with an output of up to 40 pages per minute, integrated duplex printing a first page as fast 5.9 seconds. The recommended monthly usage is 800 – 8000 pages. It has a 1-GHz dual-core processor and 256 MB of memory. Optional is the 20,000 page Extra High Yield Unison toner.

The Lexmark MX431adn (monochrome MFP) has a print speed of up to 40 pages per minute with integrated duplex printing. The recommended monthly usage is 800 – 8000 pages.  The device has a small footprint measuring just 339 mm high x 411 mm wide and 366 mm deep. The device offers double-side automatic scanning, copying, faxing and touch-screen convenience.

Lexmark CX431adw (colour MFP) has a print speed of up to 24.7 ppm, with integrated duplex printing. The recommended monthly usage is 750 – 5000 pages. The scan function can process up to 90 images per minute.

Lexmark is targeting these devices at the SMB and work from home market. Lexmark sales general manager for the Australia and New Zealand (ANZ) market, Stephen Dubois said “SMB customers are moving away from one centralised printing device in the office to printing from their homes having to add more devices to their fleet.”
