The company announced the appointment of Debbie Nice in the new role of Business Development Director.
Debbie has worked within VOW for 25 years in senior supply chain, commercial and marketing roles and has previous experience working within the medical and janitorial industry. With the market continuing to evolve post-lockdown, the new Business Development Director position benefits both resellers and suppliers with the expansion of new and existing product ranges, VOW Wholesale said.
On the new appointment, Debbie Nice said: “We are seeing some really interesting developments as suppliers are embracing the opportunities that have been created by changes to the workplace and supply chain. We continue to see growth in new markets like workwear, health and wellbeing, medical, outdoor supplies, homeware and other ranges and look forward to seeing proposals from suppliers on adjacent and diverse categories.”
Furthermore, VOW announced the promotion of Simon McLoughlin to the role of Merchandising Director to take forward the product management, inventory and purchasing teams.
Simon has been in the business for almost 10 years and has led multiple product categories, including, Stationery, Paper, Furniture, Facilities Supplies and Traditional Technology. Simon came to the business with experience of manufacturing, distribution, and reseller businesses. He has built extensive global sourcing experience and has over 10 years of inventory management knowledge. At a time of complicating global supply chains Simon is well placed to optimise the VOW approach to Merchandising.
The company added: “For current and new resellers and suppliers alike, these appointments allow VOW to be poised to offer new product lines – including more diverse categories adjacent to office supplies.”
