Visual Edge appoints Treasurer

Visual Edge Technology, Inc. has announced the appointment of John T. Bingle to corporate treasurer.
As the company explains, this is a new executive leadership position for the rapidly expanding office-equipment and information-technology solutions company.
“This is a key position that will not only support the $300 million (€262 million), 1,200-plus employee company that we have become but will also solidify our plans for continued growth,” says Michael Mills, Vice President of Administration and Chief Financial Officer for Visual Edge Technology, Inc. “This is just the beginning of a plan to build out our team.”
A long-time resident of Ohio, Bingle has over 25 years of experience managing the finances of multibillion-dollar, global companies and looks to enhance Visual Edge’s treasury operations in support of its strategy to grow its national network of office and IT solutions companies.
“We wanted someone who has run multiple finance functions in larger corporations, and John is a senior-level executive with just the experience that we were looking for,” added Mills.
Bingle brings a wealth of experience across the financial spectrum and most recently served as the treasurer of Ferro Corporation, a leading global supplier of technology-based performance materials for manufacturers. Prior to his 14-year tenure at Ferro, Bingle held positions of increasing responsibility in finance, treasury and investor relations with Steris Corporation, Invacare Corporation and the Goodrich Corporation, formerly the B.F. Goodrich Company.

Now, I will collaborate with a team of executives directly responsible for developing policies and initiatives vital for the long-term growth that Visual Edge envisions.”
Bingle holds an MBA from Carnegie Mellon University and a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology. He resides in Ohio with his wife and two sons.
