Radinks.co.uk Ltd, a Borehamwood-based supplier of computers and peripheral equipment, has entered liquidation, marking the latest casualty in a sector grappling with competitive pressures and economic uncertainty.
The company, incorporated in 2003 and formerly trading as SPK Innovations Ltd, filed for creditors voluntary liquidation. Documents filed with Companies House confirm that the company was placed into liquidation on 20th December 2024. The liquidators, Dane O’Hara and Neil Bennett of Leonard Curtis, 5th Floor, Grove House 248a Marylebone Road, London, NW1 6BB, were appointed on the 6th January 2025 and will oversee the winding-up process and address creditor claims.
Radinks.co.uk Ltd specialised in the wholesale and retail distribution of computers, software, and peripheral units, operating under Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) codes 46510 and 47410. Despite operating in a growing sector, the firm struggled to maintain financial stability in recent years, reporting net assets of just £6,980 in its last filed accounts, dated 31 March 2023.
The statement of affairs filed with the liquidation papers reveals total liabilities of approximately £150,000, including debts to key creditors such as HMRC (£25,000), trade creditors (£85,000), and suppliers (£40,000), which notably include Beihai Top Colour, Aster, and Ninestar. The liquidation process will aim to recover funds through asset sales, though initial reports suggest limited recovery prospects for unsecured creditors.
The company was headed by Mr. Dharmesh Patel, who served as both a director and company secretary, alongside fellow directors Mr. Matthew Haynes and Mr. Amit Patel. The directors were also linked to another company, ADM Consumables Limited (Company No. 07400023), which was voluntarily struck off the register on 31 December 2024. The directors have not issued a public statement regarding the liquidation process at this time.
Radinks.co.uk Ltd operated from its registered office at 5 Elstree Gate, Borehamwood, Hertfordshire. The company’s website, webshop.rad-inks.co.uk, was taken offline following the liquidation announcement.
