German manufacturer exits joint venture, gains full control of two key subsidiaries.
Turbon AG has sold its 50.004% stake in Turbon Electronic Technologies GmbH, Möser, to its co-shareholder, in exchange for complete ownership of RoPro Produktions GmbH in Aschaffenburg and Turbon SE-TEC Electronics S.R.L. in Oltenita, Romania.
The move follows failed talks over strategic adjustments amid an increasingly challenging market environment.
Turbon said it will now operate its Electronic Manufacturing Services independently through the two subsidiaries, focusing on production of electronic assemblies and strengthening its sales efforts.
The company said the restructuring would allow greater agility and alignment with its strategic priorities. The transaction marks a significant shift in Turbon’s operational footprint, transferring ownership of the Möser business entirely to the co-shareholder while consolidating Turbon’s manufacturing capacity under full internal control.
The Hattingen-based group aims to boost competitiveness in the evolving electronics sector.
