Toshiba Tec releases latest financials

The company published its latest consolidated financial results for the three months period ended 30 June 2022.
Net sales for the reporting period were ¥109.3 billion ($809.85 million/ €791.88 million), a 2.1% increase compared to the same period of the previous fiscal year. Operating profit dropped a massive 93.8%, at ¥203 million ($1.5 million/ €1.47 million).
The Workspace Solutions Business Group which handles MFPs for the domestic and overseas markets, recorded net sales of ¥46.77 billion ($346.52 million/ €338.9 million), an increase of 8% year-on-year. Toshiba Tec said: “Sales of MFPs increased due to the impact of foreign exchange rates in addition the steady sales in the Americas, Europe, Asia, and other overseas regions as a result of changing transportation method or route and focusing on product supply response such as aggressive design changing and adoption of alternative components, despite the tight supply-demand balance in components and international cargo transportation.”
Toshiba Tec added it has no revision to its financial results forecast for the fiscal year.
