June 20, 2023
Toshiba recently unveiled two new series of e-STUDIO multifunction systems, the e-STUDIO7527AC colour series and the e-STUDIO9029A monochrome series, catering to the needs of companies seeking high-speed printing and advanced document management features.
Toshiba has recently launched two new series of e-STUDIO multifunction systems, including the e-STUDIO7527AC colour series and the e-STUDIO9029A monochrome series. These six-device models have been designed to provide companies and workgroups with higher reliability, productivity, and process optimisation.
The e-STUDIO7527AC colour series and the e-STUDIO9029A monochrome series each offer three models, catering to a wide range of high-volume printing and document management needs. Powered by the latest technologies, these systems ensure efficient performance and user-friendliness.
According to Toshiba, the e-STUDIO9029A series is the ideal choice for companies that require exceptional speed. These multifunction systems can produce black and white documents at an impressive rate of 90 pages per minute. The e-STUDIO7527AC series offers colour printing at speeds of up to 75 pages per minute and 85 pages per minute in black and white mode—both series support oversized A3 format documents.
The new e-STUDIO models have large-capacity feeders that can hold up to 4,500 sheets, allowing for efficient printing of large quantities. They also feature a high-speed double-page document feeder (DSDF) with double-sheet feeder detection, enabling scanning at up to 240 pages per minute. The DSDF employs innovative ultrasonic technology to detect page overlap, eliminating the need for manual verification.
The devices have a newly designed large and adaptable touchscreen user interface (UI), and the e-STUDIO systems offer a tablet-like user experience. The 26 cm (10.1″) UI includes an integrated web browser and can be fully customised to automate workflows and integrate third-party solutions. Toshiba’s e-BRIDGE Next system platform enables further personalisation by integrating additional functions and applications.
Toshiba says that these models prioritise energy efficiency and sustainability. These devices enter sleep or super sleep mode to reduce energy consumption when not in use without compromising comfort or efficiency. The e-STUDIO7527AC colour models feature integrated motion sensors that instantly awaken the systems from super sleep mode when a user approaches within a certain distance.
Certain functions of the e-STUDIO models can be operated remotely, and the systems also emphasise security, employing self-encrypting SSD storage for secure and fast data storage. Access is regulated through ID cards, with users simply swiping their cards for authentication.
The e-STUDIO7527AC and e-STUDIO9029A series will be gradually introduced to the market in the coming months, providing businesses with enhanced productivity and customisation options.
