Toshiba e-STUDIO now capable of handling LIMEX materials

The company announced that its e-STUDIO devices are capable of handling LIMEX materials manufactured by TBM.

Toshiba Tec Corporation announced it has the ability to handle this special paper, which is one of the strengths of its e-STUDIO series of multifunction devices sold in Japan. The devices can print on TBM Co., Ltd. “LIMEX Clear File”.

The LIMEX material is attracting attention as a material that can reduce the environmental impact compared to conventional paper manufacturing because it uses limestone as the main raw material. In addition, due to the nature of the raw material, it also has the advantage of being more water-resistant and durable than ordinary paper.

In addition to printing on plain paper, Toshiba Tec said it supports printing on special paper such as waterproof paper, holders, and magnets, and multifunction machines can be used not only in offices but also in various places such as distribution and retail businesses and medical and nursing care facilities.
