Zhuhai ZhongKai warns against misuse of lost air transport safety certificate document.
Zhuhai ZhongKai Imaging Products Co.,LTD (TONER-TANK), a Chinese manufacturer of imaging consumables, has issued a formal statement confirming the loss of an original Transport Hazard Identification Certificate required for air transport.
The company is warning that any unauthorised use of the lost document will trigger legal action.
The certificate, numbered MSILI4HG6689077U1, was originally issued on 11 December 2024 after inspection and testing by PONY, an accredited Chinese testing agency. Valid from 1 January to 31 December 2025, the document was reported as accidentally lost on 21 January this year.
In a statement published on 18 April, Zhuhai ZhongKai said it “solemnly declares” that from the date of the announcement, any version of the report not directly provided by the company should be regarded as invalid. It warned that “no unit or individual shall use the lost report to engage in related activities without authorisation,” adding that any such action would result in legal liability being pursued under Chinese law.
The company urged customers, partners, and regulators to verify the authenticity of any such documentation through its official contact channels. Zhuhai ZhongKai provided a dedicated contact number (+86 756-6159701) for verification enquiries.
The loss of transport safety certification documents, while rare, can disrupt supply chains reliant on air freight where hazardous goods classifications apply. Imaging consumables, particularly toner products, often fall under such regulatory frameworks due to the flammability of fine powders used in their manufacture.
Zhuhai ZhongKai has not indicated whether a replacement certificate has been requested or reissued at the time of publication.
