thINK announces 4th annual conference
January 18, 2018
thINK, an independent community of Canon Solutions America production print customers, revealed that thINK 2018 will be held at the Boca Raton Resort & Club on September 5-7, 2018.
Once again, the event intends to bring together over 500 esteemed industry guests to educate members, both new and existing, on the rise of inkjet and its continued impact on the print industry. In addition to announcing its 2018 thINK Conference date and venue, the thINK community also announced the appointment of Bob Radzis, Chief Customer Officer at SG360, as president of its Board of Directors.
“We’re kicking off 2018 where thINK 2017 left off – with excitement, proven results, and changes in leadership that will help shape the future of this community and all that are a part of it,” said Victor Bohnert, thINK Managing Director. “Response from our community members, sponsors, and leadership team has been one of commitment and appreciation to building this great community. The future is quite promising for thINK, and I look forward to 2018 being our most impactful year yet with leaders like Bob Radzis helping us to expand our reach.”
Radzis will be joined by Lori Messina, Executive Vice President at Access Direct Systems, Inc. and Larry Vaughn, Sales Manager for Thomas Printworks, as thINK Vice President and Secretary/Treasurer respectively.
thINK’s inaugural President, Mark DeBoer, will be assuming the role of Past-President. “Being part of the founding Board for thINK was a privilege and gave me the opportunity to work with some of the most progressive minds in the industry, confirmed DeBoer. “The work, dedication, and leadership of the volunteer Board was inspiring and was the driver behind our success. The new leadership team will no doubt continue to keep thINK innovative and industry-leading.”
thINK 2017, the group’s most successful event to date, attracted more than 500 production print professionals, analysts, partners, and press, establishing it as the largest inkjet user group in the world for the third consecutive year. Across the three-day event, over 40 sessions, designed for all levels of inkjet experience and awareness, were held, encouraging attendees to educate themselves on the technology and meet with peers from across the country. In addition, post-event resources provided the audience with unprecedented access to a robust bank of inkjet-related knowledge. New to the 2017 event – and again promised for the thINK 2018 conference – an Inkjet 101 session will be offered to help support those on the verge of making an inkjet decision and give guests who want an in-depth look at a particular line of inkjet presses the exclusive opportunity to do so.
“We expect thINK 2018 to showcase the spirit of what makes this user group so successful: the ability to listen and learn from each other and provide education that can transform our members’ businesses, both now and in the future,” said Radzis, thINK President.”The learning and engagement never stops with this group; and our event in September will again be a testament of the power of community and understanding the increasing benefits of working with inkjet technologies.”
