The Recycler Live Barcelona kicks off

In a full house, delegates are keen to learn about current trends and issues within the imaging remanufacturing industry.
“Back to the roots” was part of the reason why the event was held in Barcelona again. In 2003, an event was held by The Recycler in Barcelona that was the thinking ground for a group of industry pioneers to start the European Toner & Inkjet Remanufacturers Association (ETIRA).
Twenty years later, 2023 has already been an eventful year and ETIRA is busier than ever on legislation and supporting the remanfuacturing industry.
The first day was kicked off with a thought provoking presentation held by ARMOR Print Solutions’ CEO, Gerwald Van Gijp.
Delegates were then taken along the journey of the Environmental Business acquisition. Furthermore, topics included Reuse and sustainability, print management tool JIT-R, and the Right to Repair in the wider markets , not just imaging equipment and consumables.
The afternoon sessions discussed printing in the era of digital transformation and exploring the green deal, circular economy and sustainability regulations.

Delegates will also participate tonight in The Recycler Awards dinner and drink reception where winners will be announced during the celebrations of 20 years ETIRA.
