A packed seminar programme addressing the big issues for the imaging sector will headline The Recycler Live 2025 event, taking place from 13–15 May at the Hilton Tallinn Park Hotel in Estonia. Held in partnership with ETIRA, the event brings together the sector’s leading players for three days of networking, insight, and debate — and there is still time to register, with a few delegate spaces remaining.
The conference day on 14 May promises a full agenda of presentations and workshops, opening with a welcome and an update on Remanexpo’s plans for 2026 and beyond.
The morning sessions begin with Zhono, the event’s headline sponsor and golf sponsor, exploring the chip barriers that stand in the way of repair, reuse, and remanufacturing. The company will share its approach to chip development and how partnerships can help unlock circular opportunities.
Keypoint Intelligence will present findings from its latest research in the session Why did they print that? — Examining how and why users print in the home and office. The session will also introduce a new service from its supplies testing labs, designed to support remanufacturers.
David Connett will lead Purposeful Print: Thriving in a Leaner, Smarter 2030s, arguing that adaptability will be the winning strategy as print volumes fall and compliance demands grow.
The programme continues with the OEM perspective. Ricoh will share its more than 25 years of experience in remanufacturing, outlining its circular economy journey and the challenges that remain. Brother will also provide its viewpoint.
After lunch, the focus shifts to digital product passports (DPPs) with 2CLIX – DPP – what it is and how it works, giving delegates a practical introduction to the new system.
The regulatory landscape will take centre stage in Brussels’ Beat. ETIRA Secretary General Vincent van Dijk will outline the latest policy developments, from ecodesign and sustainability regulation to anti-greenwashing measures and enforcement against polluting imports.
A workshop led by ETIRA President Javier Martinez will explore compliance risks and market realities. The session will provide practical guidance on navigating changing rules, including ESPR, GDSR, WEEE, and REACH obligations, and tackle counterfeit imports and misleading claims.
The day closes with an open round table discussion — a chance for delegates to put questions to the panel and share their own views.
The conference is part of a three-day programme designed to balance learning, business discussions, and networking. The event opens on 13 May with The Recycler Golf Tournament, offering a relaxed start and the chance to build connections on the fairway.
The focus moves to business on 15 May with Trade Day — a dedicated networking forum supporting one-to-one meetings and discussions between suppliers, buyers, and partners.
Alongside Zhono as headline sponsor, Biuromax and Static Control Components are co-sponsors of the event. Altkin, Delacamp, Everlight, Imex, and Keypoint Intelligence join as supporters.
The programme concludes with the ETIRA AGM, followed by a drinks reception, the networking dinner, and The Recycler Awards — a chance to recognise achievements and raise a glass with colleagues.
Spaces are still available to attend. Full programme details can be found at: https://therecycler.com/live/live-tallinn/programme/.
