The paper resurgence

by | Oct 11, 2019 | 0 comments

Despite the fact it can take 20 litres of water to make a single A4 sheet of paper, there is a resurgence in the use of paper. But not just any paper. The demand is for recycled paper.

Made On Earth – a new series by BBC Future and BBC World News – looks into the everyday items that have shaped global trade routes and left a lasting imprint in cultures around the world.

At 23 minutes, it is worth making a coffee and watching, and reassuring yourself that it will be a long while before paper becomes obsolete.
