The Inky Shop supports children’s charity

Mar 29, 2018 | 0 comments

With Earth Day approaching on the 22nd of April 2018, The Inky Shop is promoting the importance of recycling by supporting Singakwenza.

This charity organisation, based in KwaZulu Natal, aims to help children in economically disadvantaged communities by introducing sustainable early childhood education. The organisation teaches caregivers how to create educational toys out of recycled materials. These toys give caregivers the ability to provide educational activities, enabling the development of young children by learning through play.

The Inky Shop is running a drive during the two weeks leading up to Earth Day to assist Singakwenza. The Midlands Liberty Mall and Hayfields Mall Inky Shop stores in KwaZulu-Natal will be setting up collection points for customers to drop off recyclables. Everything collected at participating stores will be donated to the organisation.

The Inky Shop explained that it continues to do its part to reduce the negative environmental impacts of waste.
