Thames Valley Police seek ink cartridge thief

The police force has released CCTV images of “a person officers would like to speak to” regarding the theft of hundreds of pounds’ worth of ink cartridges from a Sainsbury’s.
As UKNIP reports, on the morning of 7 March, a man entered the Sainsbury’s store in Hector’s Way, Newbury, carrying a bag, and picked various ink cartridges from the shelves before walking out again without paying.
The stolen cartridges have a collective value of over £1,800 ($2,349/€2,088).
PC Louise Eaton, a member of the Smarter Resolution team, explained, “I am releasing these images as I believe the person in the CCTV footage may have vital information that could assist my investigation.
“I am urging anybody who recognises the person to contact the 24-hour non-emergency number 101, quoting reference number 43190079022.
“If you do not wish to speak to police directly, you can call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111 or make a report online.”
