The United States International Trade Commission (USITC) has voted to institute an investigation of certain toner cartridges, components thereof, and systems containing same based on the complaint filed by Brother on 19 August.

The OEM has now filed a petition for the commission to review the initial determination granting motions for summary determination of non-infringement and terminating the investigation in its entirety.
