Construction to begin on Epson Atmix factory

Epson Atmix Corporation (Atmix), a group company of Seiko Epson Corporation, will invest ¥5.5 billion ($36.7 million/ €34.8 million) in plant and equipment for the construction of a new factory, a sustainable metal refinery that will recycle waste metal to produce the raw material for metal powder.

The new factory will recycle used metal for metal powders and is the first step toward attaining Epson’s vision of becoming underground resource free by 2050, as stated in Environmental Vision 2050.
