Printix is a cloud-based infrastructure platform used to manage and maintain print environments. With the rise in cloud technologies where systems are created to deliver digital information, data and services to a network point, Printix’s innovation supports users to pair up virtually any web-enabled workstation or bring your own devices (BYOD) device with physical printers, avoiding the complexity of traditional printing methods and systems. Replicating the on-premise print server configurations through the cloud, this centralises print queue management, automates configuration and delivery of all and any required print driver to the user silently, tracks user, printer, network and location usage statistics, with reportable insights via Microsoft Power BI.
As the first cloud printing solution approved on the Microsoft Appsource application store, Printix allows system administrators and managed service partners to automatically build, deploy and manage a modern cloud-based print infrastructure, cost effectively. This means the improvement of productivity with quick to deploy automatic updates, the printing convenience of letting users print to any printer from any device, from anywhere and higher security with printing and data encrypted kept safely on the chosen local network.
The growing education and business markets require technology to grow alongside. Printix utilises and leverages the opportunities that new technology offers and business and educational customers are adopting. They eliminate print servers and move the management of print infrastructure to the cloud in a fast, easy, less costly and independent way.
Printix integrates with Microsoft Azure AD and Google G Suite, which Synnex Australia says is in accord with its cloud focus. This solution controls, monitors and optimises office printing, serves any sized business, simplifies IT infrastructure and is deployed using Microsoft Intune and other similar technologies. Businesses can avoid the go-between steps in completing their digital transformation through Printix, as the service, automatically discovers all networks, users, printers, driver configurations and locations silently with zero disruption to service or user.
Printix offers solutions that create greater opportunities to learn with cloud managed printing for schools and universities. Printix supports educational institutions to eliminate complex IT set-ups, alleviating problems that arise when connecting multiple BYOD to school printers, or printing from various software applications requiring a specified print driver. Free for students, Printix in schools means that printing is run through a single location, where the cloud administration dashboard provides central access to all usage and settings, preventing paper waste, controlling output costs and most importantly reducing operational overhead and daily support tasks typically needed to maintain a highly efficient printing service to both student and staff.
Founded by five IT and print entrepreneurs with a track record of success, Printix currently has headquarters in Copenhagen, Denmark and offices in Frankfurt, Germany and Sydney, Australia. This partnership reinforces Synnex Australia’s commitment to continue to invest heavily in the channel cloud marketplace, expanding Synnex Australia’s cloud portfolio.
