July 30, 2018
The IT solutions provider announced, it now offers Carbonite data protection to enhance its security offerings for SMBs.
Synnex Australia is rolling out the comprehensive Carbonite data protection platform (from backup and disaster recovery to workload migrations and endpoint protection), to its channel partners in Australia.
Kee Ong, Synnex Australia and New Zealand CEO said, “the partnership with Carbonite enhances the Synnex cloud data protection portfolio. Especially for partners that require a solid migration solution to move client servers and data between various cloud platforms. This presents a tremendous opportunity to offer on-premise and cloud migration services.”
The Carbonite portfolio is designed to simplify data protection strategies for SMBs and enable growth for channel partners. Resellers can sell their product directly to end clients while MSPs can offer data protection as-a-service. Partners will benefit from Carbonite’s strong focus in the channel, helping them to scale and grow their SMB clients.
Michael Tea, Synnex General Manager, Ecommerce & Cloud Services said, “the challenges of moving workloads and data between servers or cloud infrastructure is minimisation of downtime for clients. With Carbonite, our partners will be able to move data, applications or entire servers between clouds, physical and virtual platforms with virtually zero down time.”
Carbonite has 13 years of expertise in data protection. More than 1.5 million customers around the world depend on Carbonite and their partners to protect data from hardware failure, natural disasters and cyberthreats like ransomware and malicious hackers.
Steve Stavridis, Carbonite APAC Regional Sales Director said, “businesses today are required to protect more data than ever before—at the same time they need to defend against a rising number of threats to their data. They need a comprehensive data protection strategy to ensure they can protect critical business data and minimise both planned and unplanned downtime.”
