Suriname Cartridge Depot makes ink donation

The business has made a donation of ink to the local police station, after learning they had run out and were unable to adequately “perform their duties.”
As the Suriname Herald reports, Suriname Cartridge Depot nv (SCD) has made a donation of ink to the Uitvlugt police force after the cartridge company’s director, Aristo Kelly, had noted that “the police are without ink to perform their duties.”
“It is unacceptable that ink is the game breaker in Suriname,” he said.
Suriname Cartridge Depot first began operating in 2012, specialising in the manufacture of high-quality laser toners for laser printers. The company’s products “allow companies to print at half the standard price”, Kelly revealed.
As well as producing cost-cutting toner, Suriname Cartridge Depot “ensures that harmful residues from toners and cartridges do not end up in the environment”, and with its donation to the police force, the company’s management “hopes that SCD will be invited to recycle together with the government” to prevent future ink shortages.
“Recycled toner is an export product of Suriname, so it cannot be said that our government is without ink and toners,” said SCD’s director.
