October 20, 2020
Toshiba America Business Solutions’ Kerstin Woods has won the 2020 Bronze Stevie Award for Female Executive of the Year.
The company’s Vice President of solutions and outbound marketing secured the award for creating and implementing growth strategies for the company. The Stevie Awards have been hailed as the world’s premier business awards.
More than 1,500 entries were submitted this year for consideration in more than 100 categories, including Executive of the Year, Entrepreneur of the Year, Company of the Year, Startup of the Year, Women Helping Women, and Women Run Workplace of the Year.
Gold, Silver, and Bronze Stevie Award winners were determined by the average scores of more than 180 business professionals around the world, working on seven juries.
“In a year like no other in our lifetimes, we’ve produced a cohort of amazing, Stevie-winning women, organisations, and achievements like no other,” Maggie Gallagher, President of the Stevie Awards said. “At all times, Toshiba’s Kerstin Woods as well as our other winners show themselves to be fearless and indomitable, but their leadership and example are especially valued this year.”
“Kerstin has made an immediate and positive impact for our business in just a year’s time,” said Toshiba America Business Solutions Chief Operating Officer Larry White. “Beyond successfully launching several products and integrating our marketing efforts to amplify Toshiba’s marketing messages, she has demonstrated authentic leadership amid a challenging time.”
Woods holds a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering and studied psychology and business, with an engineering management emphasis, at Stanford University. She played Division 1 lacrosse at Stanford and currently serves on the executive board for her area school’s PTA while volunteering in several other community organizations in Orange County, California.
