Stevie Award for Toshiba
March 18, 2019
The OEM’s America Business Solutions (TABS) and Global Commerce Solutions (TGCS) divisions have won the 2018 Gold Stevie award for their collaboration in empowering partners and clients.
The Stevie Awards recognise “outstanding performances in the workplace worldwide,” and this year, Toshiba took the crown after the success of its LEAD (Learn, Engage, Act and Deliver) event, which attracted nearly 1,700 clients, partners, resellers, analysts and media, to receive a first look at Toshiba’s latest retail and content management product portfolios.
Beyond receiving premium content from subject matter experts on trending industry topics and insight into Toshiba’s latest and upcoming technology, attendees also had the chance to listen LEAD 2018 keynote speaker, Shawn Achor, a New York Times bestselling author who captivated the audience by delivering a “stirring” talk connecting happiness with success.
“While we have held other hugely successful events, LEAD 2018 was our most powerful and impactful conference to date,” stated TABS and TGCS Chief Marketing Executive Bill Melo. “Toshiba clients, resellers and business partners met and collaborated while receiving best-in-class insight and training from today’s industry leaders and decision-makers to equip our attendees with the necessary information to foster their continuing success.”
While it was the seventh LEAD, 2018 marked the third time that TABS and TGCS have combined to host the event. LEAD aims to help Toshiba’s diverse stakeholders located in the United States and Latin America learn, engage, act and deliver, and six of the OEM’s previous seven LEAD events have been recognised with Stevie Awards.
