Staples agrees to sell Staples Connect

Staples Solutions announced agreement to sell Staples Connect Business in Sweden.
Staples Solutions B.V. announced that it has reached an agreement to sell its Staples Connect business (www.staplesconnect.se) in Sweden to Leeward KI (Patrick Olson) and Baker & Bloom Investments, (Mats Karlsson).
This decision comes as Staples Solutions refocuses its strategy on its business-to-business contracts business.
“We believe that this transaction provides the best opportunity for our Swedish Connect team to continue delivering the solutions to meet their customers’ unique needs. Selling Staples Connect AB in Sweden further simplifies our business and allows Staples Solutions to focus on growing our core business-to-business (B2B) contract and wholesale business, serving mid-size to large enterprise customers as well as public institutions,” said Dolph Westerbos, Chief Executive Officer of Staples Solutions.
