Canon wins in numerous categories
“Canon has an award-winning device to meet the needs of home offices to large workgroups, whether colour or monochrome, single-function or multifunction,” said Kaitlin Shaw, Keypoint Intelligence’s Associate Director of A4 Hardware. “The models have strong value propositions, delivered impressive performances, and offer strong usability, including intuitive touchscreens and simple routine maintenance. Administrative and security controls were also impressive, even on the lower-end devices. With hardware that stands out in so many ways, it’s no wonder Canon has taken home so many awards this season.”
Epson’s high-performing inkjets for low-volume environments
“Epson continues to churn out top-notch inkjets for SOHO settings in both letter-size and wider formats,” said Shaw. “All three winning devices offer strong value propositions, robust feature sets, and impressive user-friendliness, thanks to easy-to-use touchscreens and simple maintenance. Flexible mobile support, including standard NFC, makes it easy for users to stay productive anytime, anywhere. In addition, the models all produced vibrant colour output that can help marketing materials pop.”
HP provides innovation and outstanding value for home offices
“With the first-of-its-kind high-yield toner tank design, the HP Neverstop Laser MFP 1202 series offers a cost per page that’s significantly lower than the average of competitive models,” said Shaw. “Home offices have become increasingly important—these devices are ideally suited for such environments. Combining flawless reliability, strong user-friendliness, and flexible mobile support with a remarkably low total cost of ownership, the end result is an exceptional value proposition for home offices in the market for a monochrome MFP.”
Lexmark shines in the small workgroup monochrome category
“Lexmark’s compact, highly reliable, and user-friendly devices are great fits for any small workgroup looking for a monochrome printer or MFP,” said Shaw. “These models can be counted on to keep workers productive given their strong performances, combined with how easy to use and maintain they are. And flexible mobile and cloud support means users can stay productive even when they’re away from their desks.”
Ricoh offers maximum uptime for enterprise environments
“For a low cost per page, businesses get strong performance and standout usability from the Ricoh IM C530FB,” said Shaw. “The device includes an intuitive touchscreen that supports web browsing and enables users to select from a variety of workflow-simplifying Ricoh Smart apps right from the control panel, while software integration is another big plus. Administrators are sure to appreciate the outstanding device management tools at their disposal. All of this helps to maximize productivity, which is critical for busy enterprise environments.”
Toshiba delivers to mid-size and large workgroups
“Toshiba is an exceptional choice for mid-size and large workgroups seeking a colour MFP,” said Shaw. “For a significantly lower than average cost per page compared to in-class models, businesses get high-performing, user-friendly devices with excellent feature sets. And Toshiba’s Elevate platform enables integration with an array of solutions that can help reduce costs and boost productivity even further. The value propositions that these Toshiba MFPs offer to mid- and high-volume environments is truly remarkable.”
