Sharp reveals transfer of subsidiary

Sharp Corporation has made a disclosure regarding the transfer of a subsidiary due to its acquisition of Toshiba Client Solutions.

Sharp Corporation has announced that, with Toshiba Client Solutions Co., Ltd. becoming a subsidiary of Sharp, Toshiba America Client Solutions, Inc., a subsidiary of TCS, has also become a subsidiary of Sharp, being “applicable as a specific subsidiary of Sharp Corporation.”

Sharp stated on 1 October 2018 that the acquisition of TCS had been completed that day, and as a result, the 7 subsidiaries of TCS had become Sharp’s subsidiary.

Out of these, Sharp revealed, it was discovered that TACS (a company succeeding business from Toshiba America Information Systems, Inc.,) is applicable as a specific subsidiary of Sharp.

According to Sharp, the impact of the transaction on the OEM’s consolidated performance for the fiscal year concluding 31 March 2019 will be “minor”.
