Sharp introduces new printers
August 28, 2018
The OEM announced four new additions to its desktop multifunction printer line, which include two monochrome desktop printers and two monochrome desktop copiers.
The new MX-B350P and MX-B450P desktop printers offer speeds up to 35 and 45 pages per minute respectively, with easy integration with mobile technologies, allowing for easy printing from tablets and smart phones.
Sharp explained that “taking into account today’s mobile workforce, these new models also offer an intuitive user experience, as well as a compact footprint and wireless capability, making them easy to place in virtually any size office environment.”
With the new MX-B350W and MX-B450W multifunction printers (MFPs), Sharp said it is “bringing an economical MFP offering to the market while at the same time providing outstanding print quality, out-of-the box copying, network printing, and network scanning and faxing capabilities.”
All four desktop models can print on letter, legal and statement size paper, as well as envelopes. The products also comply with the latest EnergyStar® standards and according to Sharp deliver a low cost per page, making them very economical to operate.
“We’re excited to announce these new models in the Sharp desktop product line,” said Shane Coffey, Vice President, Product Management, Sharp Imaging and Information Company of America. “Sharp continues to drive innovation by creating new offerings that raise the bar for entry level print and MFP devices.”
The new MX-B350P/MX-B450P desktop printers and MX-B350W/MX-B450W multifunction printers will be available for purchase in early September 2018 via authorised Sharp dealers and direct sales.
