December 6, 2024
Sharp Europe announced the acquisition of Apsia, a French based company specialising in digital transformation and cloud integration.
Apsia, which generated over €22.5 million ($23.81 million) in revenue in 2022 and has over 150 employees, offers a broad range of services across Cloud ERP, Cloud CRM, Cybersecurity, Data/IA & Cloud Analytics as well as consultancy and implementation programmes.
The strategic investment strengthens Sharp’s position as an IT services business across Europe, following significant investments in the UK and Switzerland over the last few years and strong organic growth.
Yoichi Tomota, President of Sharp Electronics Europe commented: “This acquisition is a key strategic step for Sharp Europe as we continue to extend and expand our IT Services footprint and offering in the region. Like Sharp, Apsia puts the customer at the heart of its priorities which aligns with our plans to consistently meet the changing needs of our customers and future customers across Europe.”
Olivier Massonnat, CEO of Apsia added: “We are very excited to join a pioneer of innovation such as Sharp. Joining Sharp will enhance our offering to meet the evolving needs of our customers and cloud transformation. We are looking forward to supporting an even wider range of customers with new challenges, such as preparing for the arrival of AI in management applications.”
Apsia will bring expanded technical expertise into Sharp and strengthen its role as a trusted partner for the implementation of IT for small, medium and larger companies and organisations. Apsia will continue to operate under its own brand in the French market.
Sharp Europe serves customers in both the private and public sectors, as well as Education and Government, with a portfolio that includes printers, other advanced technologies, and collaboration platforms, on top of its IT Services offering.
