Samsung Printing caters to Generation Z
June 14, 2018
As the OEM explains, as our current generation of young people enters the workforce, businesses must make sure their printing capabilities are up to date.
With Generation Z currently studying at university, graduating, and beginning their corporate lives, Samsung Printing says that “businesses have a whole new set of characteristics and values to manage.”
These include printing capabilities. To illustrate how Samsung Printing is prepared to meet the requirements of this “new cohort” of society, the company has released an infographic demonstrating the effectiveness of its multi-function printers.
Firstly, the infographic describes Generation Z, saying “they rarely switch off and expect big things from their digital devices”, adding, “They are keen to enter the workplace early, and express an interest in receiving an unorthodox education”. The infographic also explains that “Approximately ¼ of the world’s population belongs to Gen Z” and in America they now outnumber millennials by 1 million.
The infographic then turns to Samsung’s MFPs, and how they will appeal to different aspects of Generation Z.
When it comes to the ‘Speed Junkie’ aspect, the OEM says its MFPs’ Quad-core CPU processors “can keep up the pace” while the Dual Scan Document Feeder “scans both sides of a document at high speeds”.
Appealing to the Eco-Warrior predisposition of Generation Z, Samsung Printing explains that its printers “have won awards for their durability and harness their own Low-Electrical power SoC to reduce CO2 emissions.” In addition, the printers’ Eco-button “saves on pages and toner at once as, when pressed, it prints according to the pre-set printing options.”
The infographic concludes by demonstrating how its printer applications are suited to the skill set of Generation Z, such as the need for last-minute edits, printing on the go, and bespoke software solutions.
