Ricoh UK receives second gold accreditation
February 18, 2022
Ricoh UK has been successfully reassessed with Investors in People’s (IIP) Gold Accreditation for its continued effort to support employees and offer a healthy workplace.
Ricoh explained it has been working with IIP since 2011 to ensure a strong and healthy working environment for its employees. With people sitting at the heart of Ricoh’s organisation and decisions, IIP provides them with an independent, externally recognised framework to see how it performs across the board and where there is room for improvement. The IIP accreditation will help support the business’s employer of choice strategy while benchmarking it against other accredited organisations.
With only 17% of IIP organisations achieving a gold accreditation, Ricoh believes it showed excellence in directional and change-focused communications and a clear focus on culture and ethos. The organisation demonstrated future foresight with careful investment in upskilling and personalised wellbeing structures.
Gwen Powell, International Manager of Investors in People, said: “I had the pleasure to assess Ricoh UK’s people impact recently via the We Invest in People accreditation programme. Change can be a challenge for many reasons, but Ricoh’s leaders and managers have really considered how current adjustments are impacting different teams and are doing everything they can to lead and support people. With a key emphasis on digital services, Ricoh is an innovative partner focussed on a transformation that values people and aims at establishing a vibrant corporate culture.”
Lena Russell, Head of People Experience & Talent, Human Resources of Ricoh UK, said: “Our people sit at the core of our organisation. We are grateful and deeply honoured to receive this accreditation again and would like to thank IIP for its support and recognition of our effort and achievements. Providing a supportive and healthy workplace is an on-going goal and we continuously look for ways to grow, adapt and enrich our employees’ lives.”
