Ricoh recognised for its climate change action

Ricoh Company, Ltd. has received an “A” rating as part of the CDP’s annual Supplier Engagement Rating (SER) and has been placed on the prestigious CDP2021 Supplier Engagement Rating Leaderboard for the second year in succession.
CDP’s annual SER is designed to evaluate and spur action on corporate supply chain engagement on climate issues, based on the CDP climate change questionnaire. The CDP surveys more than 6,000 companies worldwide. The highest-rated companies are celebrated in the Supplier Engagement Leaderboard.
Ricoh is amongst the top 8% (approx. 500 companies) of the total assessed companies, of which 105 are Japanese.
Ricoh has positioned the “realisation of a zero-carbon society” as one of its seven material issues. Ricoh aims for zero GHG emissions across the entire value chain and aims to establish a zero-carbon society by providing highly energy-efficient products and solutions and actively encouraging business partners to do the same. Ricoh supports its suppliers in their CO2 reduction activities, and its comprehensive information disclosures are internationally acclaimed.
