The OEM has published an amendment to its latest round of financial results for the FY ending March 31st 2018.
Having previously reported that its Finance business had Operating Expenses of ¥123.2 billion ($1.11 billion/€949.6 million), a change of 10.4 percent compared to the year before, this has now been revised to ¥118.2 billion ($1.07 billion/€911.1 million), which still represents an increase on FY2016-17, albeit a smaller one, of 5.9 percent.
Similarly, where the Finance business was previously reported to have an operating profit of ¥26 billion ($235.9 million/€200.4 million), an 18.4 percent decrease on the previous year, it was in actuality ¥30.9 billion ($280.3 million/€238.1 million), meaning a drop of 2.9 percent instead.
In its Quarterly figures, Ricoh has also published a revision to the previously released results. Whereas operating expenses for Q4 2016-17 were originally said to be ¥37.3 billion ($338.4 million/€287.5 million), an 18.5 percent year-on-year increase, they have now been revised to ¥32.4 billion ($293.9 million/€249.7 million), a smaller increase of 2.8 percent.
