The Remanexpo Academy returns to the Ambiente fair in Frankfurt, running from 7th to 9th February 2025, with an agenda packed with actionable insights and thought-provoking discussions. The opening day on Friday, 7th February, sets a high bar with a series of compelling presentations. Kicking things off is David Connett, MIEEE, Partner at Connett & Unland GbR, with the keynote seminar, “Office Imaging and European Reuse: Trends and 2025 Outlook”. This session will review the standout developments of 2024, from legislative changes to the rise of hybrid market solutions, and explore what lies ahead for reuse, remanufacturing, and sustainability.

Also on Friday, Koichi Yoshizuka, founder of QRIE Ltd., will present “The Latest Trends in Japan’s Third-Party Supplies Market and OEM Developments”, offering valuable insights into Japan’s competitive market dynamics and third-party product strategies. Rounding out the day, Peter Mayhew, Principal Analyst, Keypoint Intelligence, will lead a session on “The Impact of Evolving Regulations on the Imaging Industry”, focusing on how businesses can prepare for changes like the Ecodesign directives and the introduction of Digital Product Passports (DPPs).

On Saturday, 8th February, the focus shifts to sustainability and collaboration, with presentations on reducing environmental impact, increasing reuse, and addressing the challenges posed by counterfeit and non-compliant products. Speakers from organisations like ETIRA will share strategies for fostering competitive and environmentally responsible business practices.

Sunday, 9th February, offers a deep dive into one of the industry’s most transformative innovations—Digital Product Passports (DPPs). This in-depth session will explore how DPPs can enhance compliance, reduce counterfeit products, and drive transparency across the supply chain. Attendees will learn about the first steps for implementation, key requirements, and the potential for industry-wide collaboration.
