RAJA Group completes the acquisition of Retif

RAJA Group has completed the acquisition of Retif from Verdoso.
This acquisition will enable RAJA Group to expand its retail customer base across seven European countries. It also provides RAJA with a complementary network of physical stores offering local services to customers.
By joining the RAJA Group, Retif will be able to offer its customers a broader range of packaging equipment and business supplies, while benefiting from economies of scale and additional expertise to support its growth.
Founded in 1965, Retif is a French distributor specialising in retail store equipment and supplies. In 2023, Retif generated revenues of €121 million ($133 million) and has 460 employees. Headquartered in Nice, the company serves more than 300,000 customers.
Most of Retif’s revenue comes from its 88 stores in Europe, including 66 in France, 15 in Spain, 5 in Belgium, one in Luxembourg and one in the Netherlands. E-commerce, which already represents a significant part of its sales, offers strong growth potential, RAJA explained. Retif has an 18,000 m² distribution centre in Valence, in the south of France.

Retif has a proven track record that complements our range of shopfitting supplies and services. I am fully confident in its development potential, particularly in online commerce.
Thina Cadierno, Managing Director of Retif, will continue in her role and continue to develop the Retif brand.
RAJA Group already has a presence in the shop fitting and supply market through Morplan, which serves UK retailers both online and through stores in London, Bristol, Birmingham and Glasgow.
