Print-Rite Technology Development (PTD) said it is the first to launch replacement chips for a variety of Memjet printers.
The Memjet digital label printer is ideal for short and medium-run label print jobs and used for anything from consumer product labeling to inventory applications. For a long time there has been no compatible chip available for this series of cartridges.
PTD said: “We are proud to announce that PTD have released the FIRST aftermarket chip for the Memjet technology printer, for the brands ASTRO, VIP COLOR and AFINIA.”
The new replacement chip release is the same size as the OEM and easy to install on both recycled and OEM cartridges, the company explained. Replacement chips are available for use with Memjet VIP COLOR JM210C and Memjet ASTRO AJM1/JM280C/M1/M1C devices. Soon to be available are replacement chips for use with Memjet AFINIA Label L801 devices.
