PRPS promotes IP-safe products
December 11, 2020
Print Rite Europe and PRPS have said that resellers of their products have “are never taken down by Amazon”.
Since June 2018 the total number of Amazon take downs in Europe by Canon came to 2762. As a response to the continued action from Canon on Amazon PRPS and Print Rite Europe are promoting the fact that their products are “IP-safe compatibles” and their “resellers are never taken down” from Amazon.
Commenting on these latest revelations, Print-Rite Europe’s General Manager – Sales & Marketing UK, Jason Doran, said: “OEM patent infringements have become increasingly serious and costly for the resellers involved. Major brands and the owners of their patents are now routinely serving ‘cease and desist’ orders on distributors and resellers in Europe who are selling products that infringe their patents.
“Our customers have always enjoyed complete peace of mind when it comes to the patent safety of our products and this commitment will remain at the heart of our offering going forward.”
Print Rite employs 15 in-house patent lawyers and over 200 patent design engineers to ensure that their products do not infringe OEM patents and to ensure that their customers stay out of the OEM cross hairs.
