September 9, 2019
printvision AG announced it has bought the office technology division from YCOM office technology.
On 1 September 2019, printvision AG will take over the office technology division of the Hohenthanner company YCOM office technology, continuing on its current growth course.
printvision’s CEO, Martin Steyer, sees great potential in expanding and optimising customer service in the newly acquired areas in the Mainburg and Landshut area on the one hand, and digitisation in the document management area on the other.
With the purchase of the office technology division, printvision AG also takes over the employees, who bring with them a lot of knowledge and competence in the field of digitisation, printvision stated.
YCOM office technology was founded in 1991 by Christoph Schwarz under the name CS Bürotechnik. As a one-man operation, Schwarz repaired office equipment in the early nineties. Over the years, the company has grown into a mid-sized, high-tech company with 26 employees, with expertise spanning the entire field of office communications, from hardware provisioning to digital document management. Together, they look after around 350 contract machines and generate annual sales of around €600,000 ($661,520). In 2017, it was renamed YCOM office technology.
In the pvup brand, printvision AG has bundled its years of experience in electronic document management. With the takeover of YCOM’s office equipment business, this area of ??expertise extends the additional knowledge and experience of YCOM employees over several years, thus giving pvup even greater strength in the area of ??digitisation.
