Printerre announces new NF certification
September 10, 2018
The French remanufacturer has revealed the awarding of its NF 335 certification, after more than two years of work.
The certification applies to a variety of Printerre’s cartridges, and means that the company is now the only one in France to receive the label.
Director General Laurent Berthuel announced the news on LinkedIn, speaking of his “great pride” at the designation, and how it would be a boost to Printerre’s “circular economy and social responsibility.”
The certification follows the awarding of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 26000 last year, which Berthuel said meant the company was now “one of the biggest remanufacturers in France.”
The Printerre Group has focused on printer reprocessing, printing system maintenance, and the sale of computer consumables and printers since its establishment in 2007. Printerre EA was founded 5 years later, in 2012, with more than 80 percent of its jobs going to disabled workers. Printerre collects, sorts and recovers used printer cartridges, in addition to its other services, and has been awarded a number of ISO certifications.
Earlier this year, the company announced that it had created eight new jobs over April and May, with its predominantly disabled workforce welcoming the arrival of many new faces.
