Print-Rite named National Academy Workstation
April 3, 2018
Print-Rite was designed as a National Academy Workstation by China Association for Science and Technology (CAST) recently.
This award makes it the first state-level academician workstation in the print consumables industry but also the first one in Zhuhai City.
The China Association for Science and Technology (CAST) is a non-profit, non-governmental organisation of Chinese scientists and engineers, which is composed of 167 national professional societies and hundreds of local branches at various levels. The organisation serves to provide advice and services on science and technology-related problems, so as to contribute to the nation’s economic development.
Of course, this isn’t the first time Print-Rite has been granted as Academician Workstation – going back to 2009, Print-Rite was qualified to host the provincial-level Academician Workstation due to its “remarkable” R&D experience. Taking top honours in late 2017 as National Academician Workstation, Print-Rite asserts that it will continue its collaboration with the research team of National Key Laboratory of Remanufacturing, leads by Academician Binshi Xu, and the scientific research team of National Key Laboratory of Supramolecular Structure and Materials, leads by Academician Jiacong Shen.
Regarding the development of print consumables industry in Zhuhai, Print-Rite states that it “will continue to construct the workstation, enhance the equipment for R&D and improve the professional and innovative talent team.”
Meanwhile, Print-Rite will keep targeting frontier areas of technology of China and abroad, exploring potential new products, new processes and new technologies. Print-Rite says it determines to transform the state-level academician workstation into the industry’s leading R&D institution, forming a demonstration effect of leading the industry’s innovation and development and promoting the industrial development of printing consumables industry in Zhuhai, China and even the world.
