Paperworld reveals features of the future
August 30, 2018
The 2019 edition of the popular trade show will have one eye on the future of the office space, according to new details released in the build-up to the event.
The trade show, which once again takes place at Messe Frankfurt, Germany, and which will run from the 26th to the 29th of January, will feature several new events, themes, and segments, as it again looks to the office of the future, and also renews its focus on sustainability.
Paperworld’s Future Office segment, situated in Hall 3.0, this year focussed on the topic of health, and what role your office can play in the improvement of your health. In the middle of the hall, visitors could explore the ‘Bad Office’, which was loud, crowded, hectic and uncomfortable. From here, they could follow a course through the ‘Healthy Office’, which gave them positive counter impulses. The six areas of office space, furnishing, nutrition, working methods, employees, and tasks contribute to a healthy office atmosphere, which could be explored one after the other on the special exhibition area. It was also possible to explore individual stations with acoustic experiences and lighting scenarios, test a seating parcourt, and give information on the quality of meals and biorhythms.
Paperworld 2019 will also feature the Sustainable Office Day, which will feature a variety of seminars and discussions on current developments in the sustainable office world, and the challenges of eco-fair procurement. The event, which may be of particular interest to those attending the Remanexpo product group, is co-organised with BAUM, the German Association for Environmental Management e.V.
“We are delighted to support sustainable projects and thankful for the friendly and valuable cooperation at Paperworld,” said the trade show’s chief, Michael Reichhold. “Now to receive this certificate for the cooperation, we are honoured and we give a big thank back to B.A.U.M. and all colleagues.”
As well as these, Paperworld 2019 will welcome a brand new hall concept, that will see Remanexpo move from Hall 6.0 to Hall 5.1, on the Via Mobile level, allowing the main thoroughfare of foot traffic to pass right past the doors.
