Pantum’s Hefei Industrial Park now operational

On January 15, the new production line of Pantum in its brand new industrial park in Hefei, China was officially opened.
The project represents an investment of RMB7 billion, and the first phase covers 300 acres of land to build a medium- and high-performance laser printer R&D base, a software adaptation centre, and a production base for printers and supporting products.
The commissioning ceremony was held at production base in Hefei Circular Economy Demonstration Park. County Party Committee Secretary Yao Fei, County Party Committee Deputy Secretary and County Magistrate Wang Shuwu and other seven county party leaders, Kong Dezhu, President of Ninestar Co., Ltd., and Hefei Pantum Intelligent Manufacturing Co., Ltd. General Manager Wang Yuguo and other Ninestar leaders and a group of five people attended the meeting.
Mr. Kong Dezhu, President of Ninestar and General Manager of Pantum Electronics, said: “Hefei Pantum Intelligent Printer Industrial Park, as the second high-end intelligent manufacturing production base built by Ninestar in China, has been under construction since September 2022.
“The first production line was successfully put into operation. This is a new milestone in Pantum’s industrialisation journey, and also marks that the comprehensive development of China’s printing economy has reached a new level.
“Pantum will firmly seize the opportunities of the times, give full play to its advantages in technology, talents and resources, continuously improve product quality, expand the scale of the enterprise, strengthen the industrial ecology, and strive to become a new force in the high-quality development process of Hefei Feidong and even China.
“Momentum continues to promote the innovation and upgrading of China’s laser printing technology , providing more advanced and higher-quality printing solutions to global users.”
Led by Yao Fei, Secretary of the Feidong County Party Committee in Hefei, the leaders present personally witnessed the first printer coming off the production line and signed their names as a souvenir. With the successful rollout of the first printer, Hefei Pantum Intelligent Manufacturing Co., Ltd. has officially entered the operation stage.
