Oliver Klinck departs Office Depot

Oliver Klinck, latterly Chief Sales Officer Direct and Chief Merchandising Officer at Office Depot Europe, has been appointed to the executive team of eBay in Germany.
As Vice President Commercial Operations, he will be reporting directly to Eben Sermon, Managing Director of eBay in Germany.
In his new role, Oliver Klinck will be responsible for the entire B2C business on the German eBay marketplace. His responsibilities will include relationships with commercial sellers, dealers and brands on eBay.de, as well as the management of various product categories and inventory.
A particular focus will be on the areas of home & garden, consumer electronics, vehicle parts & accessories and fashion.
He will also be responsible for Promotional Planning and all investments in the German B2C business.
“We are in the process of investing heavily in our German business and transforming the eBay marketplace in Germany. Oliver will play a key role in further developing our B2C programs and initiatives,” said Eben Sermon.
Oliver Klinck started in November 2016 as CMO at Office Depot Europe. In July 2017, he was appointed CMO and in January 2018 took over after the departure of Thomas Glatzel the position of CSO Direct and merchandising.
