May 18, 2022
Officeworks announced the opening of its largest store on the Gold Coast.
The Robina store is the 168th Officeworks store in Australia and the 32nd in Queensland, joining the West Burleigh, Nerang and Southport stores servicing the growing Gold Coast region in the state’s south-east.
The new store will help create 68 new local jobs and will stock over 21,000 products in-store.
Officeworks Robina Store Business Manager, Sam Uithol said: “Our team is looking forward to connecting and building relationships with our local community. At Officeworks, we offer so much more than just stationery. We are ready to help local Gold Coast businesses start, run and grow with the latest in tech as well as help make bigger things happen for local students, teachers, schools and the planet.
“We stock a huge range of technology, art supplies, furniture and education resources and offer expert advice and helpful services such as Print and Copy and on-site tech support in Geeks2U. We also have a range of Greener Choices products and e-waste and recycling facilities on site to support our customers to shop more sustainably.”
The Robina store features several sustainability initiatives, including using 100% LED lights which feature low wattage and reduce energy consumption. Solar panels are due to be installed on the roof to help power the store with renewable energy and an e-waste recycling unit will be available to customers to recycle their unwanted or broken tech items.
Customers can shop for a more sustainable range of Greener Choices products, and recycle their unwanted products such as batteries, printers, laptops and pens and markers.
The new store is located at Shop 14, 550 Christine Avenue, Robina Home & Life Centre, Robina.
