On Saturday 6 September, Officeworks Carnegie will host the next Officeworks People and Planet Positive Pop Up Day.
To help Officeworks make a positive difference to people and the planet, locals can bring household batteries and other tech items to be collected and recycled. Accepted products include computers, video equipment, games consoles, cameras, televisions, printers, hard drives, phones, ink and toner cartridges and more.
Customers are reminded to wipe the data on their devices before recycling.
Officeworks has been hosting Pop Up Days across the country this year, with previous events collecting up to 933kg of electronic waste and 18kg of batteries in a single day, diverting this waste from landfill.
