Over the Last Year, the company has transformed retail space in eight locations to include its Workonomy Hubs coworking spaces.
Office Depot, Inc. is opening five new Workonomy Hub coworking spaces this week in the Houston, Chicago, Denver, Minneapolis, and Orlando markets. These new shared workspaces are integrated into existing Office Depot retail locations and offer a portfolio of professional products and services to help small business owners, entrepreneurs, freelancers, remote workers and startups achieve their goals in a flexible and modern environment.
Each location provides customers with a place to work independently or connect and exchange ideas with other entrepreneurs in their community from different backgrounds and industries. With up to 5,500 square feet of modernised office space, there are a variety of customisable coworking options, providing access to desks, private offices, conference rooms and event spaces.
“Technology has dramatically changed the way people conduct business today and Office Depot is uniquely positioned to leverage our internal assets, retail space, and omni-channel platform to help our customers succeed in their professional endeavours,” said Gerry Smith, chief executive officer for Office Depot, Inc. “Our coworking spaces provide professionals with the working space and tools they need to run their businesses efficiently, in a way that is both convenient and cost-effective.”
In June Staples introduced ‘Staples Studio’, an in-store co-working space designed for small businesses, which are currently available in three Massachusetts Staples retail locations: Brighton, Danvers and Norwood.
