OCP operations move complete
July 27, 2020
Following the acquisition of OCP twenty months ago, Environmental Business Products Ltd (EBP) management team have confirmed that the relocation of OCP’s business operations to the Compedo facility in Iserlohn has been completed.
EBP acquired in November 2019 and began centralising the sales, account management, distribution and new product development arms of the business at the Compedo facility in Iserlohn.
Ink production is set to be moved from the current location in Lage to their new partner facility in Poland, and despite the challenges seen as a result of COVID-19, the team’s plans are still very much on target for the move.
The current timeline for completion on this is the end of summer, at which point the facility in Lage will officially close and the team in Iserlohn will commence full operational control of the day-to-day running of the business, overseen by Richard Pennekamp and the senior EBP team.
EBP said: “Plans are firmly in place to minimise any disruption to existing customers during this exciting transition but should anyone have any questions on how things may directly impact them, they are asked to contact orders@ocp.de.”
The company added that the businesses will be looking to bring a range of new products to market this coming autumn.
